In 2021, Ver.iD joined forces with OWOW. The primary goal of our partnership was to explore and pioneer a one-of-a-kind, secure ID verification tool. Given OWOW’s aspirations to emerge as a leading e-ID contender in Europe, their service demanded a seamless and universal UX. On top of that, we faced numerous security and infrastructure hurdles that set the stage for a groundbreaking standard. However, with our stellar team of software architects, designers and developers, no challenge was to big.

Electronic ID verification processes today are often either inadequately designed or overly complicated, involving numerous steps—from scanning ID cards to capturing images via webcam, followed by a waiting period for a match confirmation. At Ver.iD, we’ve pioneered a completely fresh approach. We’ve designed our own unique flows and rigorously tested them with various stakeholders to ensure the steps are transparent and intuitive.

Ver.ID is all about offering a simple solution to many digital wallets and we wanted to create a website where this is easy to understand and also gives a feeling of security and makes you want to use it. With the implementation of 3D visuals the user sees that the data is safely progressed.

Within the application we used a clean white design with green accents for a reliable feeling of the product. On the website it was most important to easily explain the product which we did using animation showing how the product works step by step.

Our design system approach is applied to all platforms and ensures quality and consistency through component based design elements and atomic design principles.
